The school is primarily a village school, with a catchment area of Speen, North Dean and Great Hampden. Parents can find out if they live in the catchment area by keying in their postcode to the county website:

As an 'aided' school, Speen Governors have separate admission criteria from 'county' schools.
The Governors of Speen Church of England School are usually able to offer Nursery places to children in the term following their 4th birthday. Closing date for the receipt of applications for admitting 4 year olds is the second Friday in October for the following academic year.|
